DIY: Word garlands

I am absolutely in love with this fabulous idea. For the holiday season, katiedid cut out letters - freehand- in all different sizes. Once stringing them to bakers twine, each garland spelled out a famous christmas carroll. I think: why stop there? You can use this idea for a baby shower (string nursery rhymes),a going away party (string country, states, or city names), or birthdays...
Upcycled food cans as cubbyhole storage...

A while back, I was inspired by a cylindrical storage system I saw on Apartment Therapy, which they had pulled from Elle Deco (I don’t read French, but I believe the designer’s name is Pil Bredahl). I knew leftover food cans were the answer.
