Paper Flower Backdrop | Ruffled
A few days ago I was looking around my lounge and thought… it’s all very pink. I need a different colour in my lounge room! I’ve been thinking of changing the wall above my side table but couldn’t really decide on anything. But after seeing this backdrop I think I might be veering towards something like this. It’s a big punchy colour and the perfect complimentary colour to my pink room. And the best part? Dirt cheap. My favourite kind of project!

Watercolour Painted Jeans | All The Good Girls Go To Heaven
In the stores at the moment it’s all pastels, lace and neon - and these jeans would go perfectly with any of those fashion trends at the moment! While the jeans are wet, you just use the fabric dyes like you would with a normal watercolour. If you’re not keen on multi-colours, you could just use one colour in different strengths.

Enlarge photos from a recent trip and make foldouts: an accordion type, formed by taping photocopies together, or an origami-style version, using a bone folder to make sharp creases. These inserts, pasted into an ordinary journal, add an element of surprise to the story of the trip and convey some of the city’s grandeur.
