DIY: Tribal print iPhone case ✪

Are you seeing lots of this type of pattern lately?
It’s either called the Aztec print or the tribal print
It’s the one of the ‘It’ trends this season since it’s the perfect mix of color and fun
which is perfect for the summer!
I wanted a hint of this awesome print with me everywhere, so what better way
to do that, is to place it in your very own iPhone case! :)
Here’s my take on the Aztec inspired iPhone case! Check it out and do it yourself!
Tell me what you think about it here ♡
Awesome finished product! Didn’t expect it to look like this!!! :) So happy! ♡
le inspiration which costs $40 each! The messed up, crooked lines create the effect! :)
What you’ll need:
Look for your colored permanent markers coz they’re the only thing that’ll put your patterns to life!
A matte white iPhone case (or a blackberry case if you’re on BBM)
Any type of ruler. I used a Protractor so it won’t be too long, rulers are sometimes hard to work with!
How did I do it?
Don’t be scared to start it! Just think of it as drawing on a normal, white paper! :)
Think of any design and be creative with it! The first few patterns can be
overwhelming but as you move on to the middle part,
sometimes you just run out of ideas of what to do next! Haha! :)
Remember, for this DIY, the more the details, the better! But I’m warning you,
you’ll need a lot.. A LOT.. of patience because this takes time to finish, but
I assure you that when it’s done, you’ll love the result! :)
You can also apply clear nail polish to make it shiny & last longer
Side view & top view of the finished product.
Make sure you extend until the sides and the top of the case! :)
(isn’t it obvious I’m addicted to these types of prints? Look at my lock screen! haha!)
It isn’t even dry yet, but I’m already super excited to use my newly made iPhone case!
Surely, I won’t have to worry about having the same case as someone else.

Try this awesome DIY and show your artistic skills :)
Make your friends and family jealous! haha  just kidding!
Happy DIY-ing! Hope you liked this post :)
Watch out for more!

DIY: Floral Crown ❀

Floral crowns or floral Headdresses are everywhere these days!
From Kate Moss’ wedding pictures to different magazine editorials…
The leaves and flowers wrapped around your head give you that ‘angelic / hippie’ look!
They’re perfect for outdoor shoots under the sun
or by just wanting to feel like a goddess for a day! Who wouldn’t want that? :)
But how do you make them? Try these easy steps! ❀
DIY Floral crown made by yours truly :)

This is one of the pictures taken from this site about Kate Moss’ wedding picture that became my inspiration for this DIY project :)
Materials needed:
Fake flowers, the smaller in size & lighter in color, the better
Copper wire to help those flowers stay in place
Some green gardening bending wire which I got from a hardware store
Any metal cord that’s a little thicker than the copper wire
Scissors which I forgot to take a picture of, but I’m sure you all know what it looks like! :)

Steps:

Step 1: Wrap the metal cord around your head for the desired circumference of the crown
Step 2: Cut the excess cord and put the ends together using the copper wire
Step 3: Then wrap the green gardening bending wire around the metal cord
(Might take some time, but you’ll get the hang of it)
Step 4: Attatch the flowers one by one with the copper wire and the green gardening wire
(this too, needs some patience as it requires trial and errors to perfect the arrangement)
The lesser the flowers and leaves, the simpler it looks! :) Here, I just did 3/4 of the whole crown,
but if you prefer to finish the whole thing, go ahead no one’s stopping you! :)
Finished product! Tell me what you think by tweeting me here :)
Hope you liked my latest DIY! :)
They’re mostly used by models, flower girls, brides…
and for a fairy halloween costume, maybe? :) Haha!
I’ll have more projects to come
Happy DIY-ing!

D-I-Y Pink Ombre Shorts! ✁

I have decided to edit my on pair of shorts in a very summery way haha! Going out of the stereotypical kind of shorts which are white, black or colored, I’ve decided to create ombre shortsOmbre is the gradient effect that’s seen in fashion shows and are super in trend right now! From Abbey Lee Kershaw’s hair dip dyes to Topshop collections, I’m loving it! (aren’t you?) But, since I’m a fan of Tumblr but I don’t have my own account, I always see these kinds of shorts and tried to copy them! The brand is Runwaydreamz and they sell amazing shorts with studs and goes with the whole Coachella, I’m-too-cool look! Here they are and below are steps on how to make your own! Hope you try it! It’s super fun!

Here’s the finished product that I’m soooo happy to have made.
That’s me btw! Know how excited I am? I’ll wear them today! HAHA!

Runwaydreamz that cost about $150-200! No wayyy but they’re so pretty! My latest purchase. So happy I got this one @ Rockell PowerMac
that became my inspiration for this Do-It-Yourself project!
Pink Ombre Belkin iPhone 4 case

Materials needed! L-R White shorts (Cotton On), Venus Dye in Pink,
Studs from Carolina’s, and a knife to put them studs!

L-R 1.) Boil hot water and add the dye 2.) Dip the tip of the shorts
3.) Use anything (in my case a spoon) to bring the colored water up until half
of the shorts 4.) Then make a darker mixture then dip JUST the tip of the shorts

L-R 1.) Dry the shorts (Woke up going straight down to see if it’s dry since I dyed it at night)
2.) Prepare the knife and studs 3.) One by one, push the studs onto the shorts and
use the knife (or your hands which I did but it HURT!) to push the
metals down to secure them 4.) Done with the area of the pocket!

Never knew my morning would be so productive today! (who would’ve thought!)
This project was truly a great unexpected expectation! Try these out!
They’re perfect for the summer and it’ll go with anything!
(trust me, I’ve mix and matched them with different tops already!)
So, instead of getting those super over-priced
Runwaydreamz make these!
They’re super easy!
Happy D-I-Y-ing! Tell me about what you did in my Twitter! Have fun! :)
